Supporting the U.N. sustainable development goals

We are proud to be committed to supporting the aims of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to support an initiative that aligns with our positive impact principles from gender equality to mental health. We are driven to changing the world for a better future and have been actively engaging with colleagues, clients and other key stakeholders on building a sustainable future.

Making a positive impact

Delivering our purpose of being a force for positive change is not just confined to our own operations, but through enabling our colleagues to use worktime to support local good causes. It means every colleague is given one workday each year to support their local community and charitable organisations through raising money, volunteering, and being actively engaged. As part of our #1MillionHours2Help global programme, our colleagues have the opportunity to make a difference.  It means they’ve volunteered to help a host of good causes, from environmental projects such as lake cleans, marathons, cake bakes through to more daredevil skydiving challenges to raise valuable funds for local charities.

Contributing to tackling our global sustainability challenge

We recognise we all play a part in tackling climate change, so this is an important focus for all colleagues at BNP Paribas Personal Finance. We’re committed to providing access to more sustainable energy and resource consumption and have made local changes within our operations with reducing single use resource consumption, being just one of many positive changes we’ve made. We’re open to new solutions to further improve our sustainability practices and as we look to the future we’re committed to continued positive change to reduce our environmental impact.
