BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK has entered the leisure market with a new financing solution for motorhomes and campervans.

Customers can now finance new and used motorhomes and campervans though BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK, at partner dealerships across the country.

This launch comes after a year of restrictions on movement, against the backdrop of a global pandemic. And with talks of vaccine passports and ongoing travel bans, more and more people are embracing the staycation and choosing domestic holidays over trips abroad.

According to research carried out by our motor finance team, 77% of UK adults feel that a motorhome-based UK break is an acceptable post-lockdown activity. And this sentiment has been reflected in sales of motorhomes and campervans – which have skyrocketed over the past 12 months.

In addition, while the pandemic has had a negative financial impact on some, many households have also found that they’ve saved money from holidays not taken last year (instead choosing to invest this in a motorhome or campervan). As these are generally bigger purchases – we want to make them affordable to a greater number of people by allowing customers to fund them over a longer period of time.
